Okay, I’m a little confused. According to this chart, Americans annually consume 600.5 lbs of “non-cheese” dairy products. Butter obviously seems to fall under the Fats & Oils category (85.5) lbs; Cheese takes up 31.4 lbs; and Beverage Milks total up to 181 lbs. So what the hell is the 600.5 lbs of Dairy Products? Jamie Lee Curtis is really great but I doubt we’re consuming 600 lbs of Activa every year.
Anyway, if this chart is accurate, then I’m not surprised the median American woman is 5’4” and weighs 164 lbs. 812.9 lbs of cheese, milk, and whatever non-cheese dairy products that cow represents is a lot of osteoporosis-fighting bone density.
