Blueberry Coffee Cake
Of all the things I’ve made in my life, this one had to be the best smelling. I mean, there really is nothing quite like the smell of coffee cake baking in the oven. Somehow, that smell permeates through any tensions I have in my life, and I find myself just plain happy. And it tastes pretty damn good too!
Seriously though, this was a really fun experience for me. I have come to realize that one of the best parts of baking, at least for me, is the leftovers I always have left to give away. I mean, let’s be honest, I don’t need a whole coffee cake lying around my kitchen waiting to be eaten - nobody does, really - so I give it to friends, and let them enjoy it. I mean that’s what this is all about, right? What’s the point of making food, if you don’t have anyone to share it with?
So, with that said, if you ever want to try any of my creations, I am more than willing to send them your way, all you have to do is ask.
