Jello Pudding Pie (with Oreo crust, obviously) and Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread - two of my favorite desserts, at the same time.
I had never made either of these before, nor had I ever even considered attempting to make my own whipped cream, so it was quite an adventure. I will admit that it took me a while to master the art of whipping without spackling my kitchen cupboards and walls with cream (which was a pain in the ass to clean up btw). I think I’ll have to pull a Dexter beforehand and cover the room in plastic wrap before before my next adventure, which probably won’t have anything to do with baking (I’m kind of getting bored with it). It’s time to actually cook more.
Anyway, this will have to do for now. The food was amazing. My friends loved it and that’s really all that matters to me.
Thanks to Jessica Roy from La Lune Events for the pudding pie recipe. It was easy, fun, and sweetly satisfying. I know you’re cooking up a storm these days, so if there’s anything else you think I might like, please pass it on. That goes for the rest of you as well. Gimme your recipes. I love food!
